Student Services

Placement Services:

Eastern International College offers placement services to graduating students. Students are required to register their resumes with the Director of Placement and Career Services prior to the beginning of their final course. Interviews and pre-testing appointments are established for the student once graduation requirements are met. Many employers and guest speakers visit the college to interview students for permanent and temporary employment. Although placement services are available to graduating students, Eastern International College does not guarantee placement.  However, Eastern International College makes every effort to assist each graduate in obtaining gainful employment.

Library and Learning Resource Center:

The Eastern International College Libraries are dedicated to supporting the school's mission as a community educating students to serve in the allied health field. The Eastern International College Libraries mission is to provide an environment where lifelong habits of learning are encouraged by providing access to information resources designed to meet the curriculum. In keeping with this mission, the libraries seek to:

• Promote information literacy
• Help students evaluate sources
• Support students in developing research skills

Eastern International College maintains two distinct physical locations on both the Jersey City and Belleville campuses. They are staffed by two full-time librarians with operating hours established to accommodate both day and evening class sessions.

Transportation:

The Main Campus in Jersey City is easily accessible by New Jesrey Transit buses and the PATH train. The Belleville Campus is easily accessible by New Jersey Transit buses, and street parking is available. The college does not offer institutional transportation. Eastern International College has negotiated reduced parking fees for student parking for students attending the Jersey City campus near the Journal Square area. Housing:

Eastern International College is a commuter college. The college does not have institutional housing available.

Maintenance of Records:

Eastern International College maintains academic and attendance records for currently enrolled students, graduates, and students who have withdrawn or were terminated from college in accordance with statutory requirements.

Tutoring / Lab Hours and Availability:

Students are encouraged to use the computer labs and the library/resource center after class hours. Students in need of tutoring should consult with their instructors and see tutoring schedules posted in the libary. Students who seek additional hands-on practice involving invasive procedures may only perform such practice with faculty present.
