“The Department of Student Life is to provide the students, faculty and staff at Eastern International College with the opportunity to learn and grow in a positive and friendly environment.
The Department of Student Life at Eastern International College advocates for students while fostering campus involvement, civic engagement, and student success. The departments within the Division of Student Life offer quality services and programs that provide social, cultural, recreational, academic and leadership development.
Student organizations, their leaders and members are expected to display the highest standards of conduct, honor, and integrity and to uphold all policies contained in the Eastern International College Student Handbook.”

Student Government
EIC’s Student Government will promote unity within the campus, while respecting individuality and diversity. We will uphold a safe and positive learning environment for all students and staff. Build and maintain a tradition of excellence through innovation. Be simultaneously aware of the community in which we thrive, as well as the world in which we live. Encourage total involvement, with participation in artistic, academic, social, and voluntary activities
The Health & Wellness Club
EIC’S Health & Wellness Club offers engaging activities, programs, services emphasizing awareness, prevention, and positive health behavior change, as well as to provide current and accurate information on personal and community health issues. Through this The H&W Club will foster a campus environment that is supportive of a healthy lifestyle, and provide knowledge and skills to improve and maintain health that may enhance academic and/or work performance.
The Social Club
EIC’s Social Club goal is to share time, friendship, and laughter through various collective activities as well to help promote a sense of camaraderie, and school pride throughout the campus community. The Social Club is all inclusive with a desire to help establish a sense of community throughout the college. Another goal of this social clubs is to help service to the surrounding communities and the school itself.
The Newspaper Team
EIC’s Newspaper Team is an editorially independent student newspaper with a mission is to publish news and feature stories, editorials and opinions relevant to the campus community and local area, while upholding the highest professional and ethical standards. This paper strives to be a student-focused news source, but also intends to chronicle all aspects of campus life and inform its readership. Finally, this team should serve as an opportunity for its student staff to learn the fundamentals of news-gathering and reporting.
The Art & Photography Club
EIC’s Art & Photography Club provides additional enrichment opportunities of the creative realm of Art & Photography to students, while also increasing leadership skills, gains to self awareness, and developing an understanding of personal responsibility to community developments in the arts. The Art & Photography Club will try to provide opportunities for self importance of personal contributions to cultural awareness, community development, and community enrichment for the promotion of the arts.
The Diagnostic Medical Sonography Club (DMS)
EIC’s DMS Club will help to further educate diagnostic medical sonography students in the knowledge, skills and attitudes to become qualified, professional practitioners who provide quality service and care to the community and to prepare students for the changing needs of the profession, by creating social networks with alumni and current professionals in the field, as well as to form extra study groups in order to further advance their knowledge. The DMC will work collaboratively to learn more about DMC Organizations, current Accreditation Standards, potential scholarships and grants, continuing education courses, and key time management issues. This club will also provide new nursing students with the help of mentor nursing students within EIC’S Nursing Program.
The Nursing Club
EIC’s Nursing Club is to organize, represent and mentor students within the Nursing Program. Goals of this club are to help students to prepare for initial licensure as registered nurses and to convey the standards and ethics of the nursing profession. Students will work together to promote development of the skills that they will need as responsible and accountable members of the nursing profession. The Nursing Club will create social networks with alumni and current professionals in the field, as well as to form extra study groups in order to further advance their knowledge. The Nursing Club will work collaboratively to learn more about National Nursing Membership Organizations, current Accreditation Standards, potential scholarships and grants, continuing education courses and key time management issues. This club will also provide new nursing students with the help of mentor nursing students within EIC’S Nursing Program.
The Cooking & Baking Club (C&B)
EIC’s C&B club instills a sense of social and civic awareness by promoting cooking and baking activities that will help in regards to fundraising and healthy cooking workshops for the Student Government, The Health & Wellness Club, as well as the Social Club. At the same time the students will discover delicious new recipes and ways of preparing favorite ingredients, share recipe ideas, notes and variations with peers interested in cooking and baking.
