Diagnostic Medical Sonography - Associate Degree

Objective

To impart the confidence, interpersonal skills, and necessary knowledge to those passionate about pursuing a career in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

Program Description

The applied science portion of this 65-credit Associate Degree program contains two major sections: a theory/didactic/lab component and a clinical externship component. Emphasis will be placed on obtaining information and techniques required for American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification. Of the total 65 semester credits, 20 credits are general education and 45 credits are in the applied science courses.
